AB  - “Din ve siyaset” ilişkileri ve dinin toplumdaki farklı görünümleri gerek gündelik hayatta gerek profesyonel çevrelerde her zaman güncelliğini koruyan tartışma konularıdır. Oldukça dinamik olan bu ilişkiler çok boyutlu, karmaşık ve farklı şekillerde olabilmektedir. İlişkilerdeki bu çok boyutlu durum kavramlara da yansımaktadır. Bu makalede din-siyaset ilişkileri, araştırmaya konu edilen coğrafya da dikkate alınarak “Teopolitik” kavramı ile ele alınmıştır. Güncel örnekler üzerinden ABD’deki Hristiyan teopolitiğine odaklanan makalede teopolitiğin ötekileştirici kodları ön plana çıkartılmıştır. Dolayısıyla çalışmamızda ele aldığımız problem dinî ve siyasi boyutunun ötesinde sosyolojik bir muhtevaya sahiptir. Çalışmamızda öncelikle literatür taramasından faydalanılarak teorik çerçeve oluşturulmuş, akabinde Hristiyan Siyonizmi ve Yeni Muhafazakârlık bu çerçevede analiz edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda Giriş’le birlikte iki bölümden oluşan makalenin Birinci Bölümünde çalışmamızın temel kavramı olan “Teopolitik” hakkında kavramsal bir tartışmaya girilmiş ve Hristiyan teopolitiğinin teolojik arka planı ile ilgili temel düzeyde bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci Bölümde ABD’deki Hristiyan Siyonizmi ve Yeni Muhafazakârlık ve bunların siyaset kurumuyla kurdukları ilişki neticesinde ortaya çıkan problemler teopolitik açıdan ele alınmıştır. Çalışmamızın amacı teopolitikanın yalnızca siyasi ve dinî bir problem olmayıp aynı zamanda toplum üzerinde ötekileştirici etkisiyle sosyolojik bir problem olduğunu da göstermektir. Nitekim elde ettiğimiz bulgular, Hristiyan Siyonistlerin ve Yeni Muhafazakârlar’ın teopolitik olarak değerlendirdiğimiz gündemlerinin, siyasi sonuçlara yol açmasının yanında, teoloji kaynaklı, oldukça derin ve keskin bir ötekileştirmeyi beraberinde getirdiğini ortaya koymaktadır.

N2  - The relationship between “religion and politics” and the various manifestations of religion in society are topics of discussion that remain consistently relevant in both everyday life and professional circles. These relationships are highly dynamic and can manifest in multifaceted, complex, and diverse ways. This multidimensionality in relationships is also reflected in the concepts themselves. The article, which focuses on Christian theopolitics in the United States through contemporary examples, highlights the othering codes inherent in theopolitics.Consequently, the problem addressed in our study possesses a sociological dimension that extends beyond its religious and political aspects.Initially, a theoretical framework was established through a literature review, followed by an analysis of Christian Zionism and Neo-Conservatism within this framework. In this context, the first section of the article which consists of an introduction and two main sections, engages in a conceptual discussion regarding our core concept, “Theopolitics,” and provides fundamental information about the theological background of Christian theopolitics. The second section examines Christian Zionism and Neo-Conservatism in the United States and the issues arising from their relationship with political institutions from a theopolitical perspective.The aim of our study is to demonstrate that theopolitics is not merely a political and religious problem but also a sociological issue due to its othering effects on society. Indeed, our findings reveal that the agendas of both Christian Zionists and Neo-Conservatives, which we evaluate as theopolitical, not only lead to political consequences but also result in a deeply rooted and sharply defined othering process derived from theological sources.
