Every development contributes to the formation of new ways of life. This study is about the gig economy, which has gained momentum with the Covid-19 pandemic that has affected the world and continues to develop by continuing its popularity. Although the gig economy represents a very broad economic system, in some professions there is direct communication with the customer, while in some professional groups the job can be completed by working online. However, the essence of the work is individual entrepreneurship rather than being contracted to any employer. The aim of this study is to determine the entrepreneurial personality characteristics of motor couriers operating in the gig economy. For this purpose, data were collected by online survey method. The "entrepreneurship tendencies" scale developed by İşcan and Kaygın (2011) was used in the study. In this context, the data obtained from 155 motor couriers were analyzed in the SPSS 26 quantitative analysis program. In the analysis program in question, frequency distributions of demographic variables were made, and especially the relationship between the "age distributions" and "professional durations" of the participants were calculated by the Crosstabs method. Based on this, the variables included in the entrepreneurial personality traits were compared with demographic variables using the ANOVA method. As a result of the research, it was understood that the motor couriers who participated in the research generally had entrepreneurial personality traits, and it was observed that there were differences in the levels of "self confidence", "tolerance of ambiguity" and "propensity to take risk" among these traits.}, number={4}, publisher={Dokuz Eylul University}
