AB  - İnsanın evrendeki yerine dair değerlendirmeleri zaman içinde değişiklik göstermiş, mevcut halini kabul etmeyen bir varlık olarak, her zaman kendini mükemmelliğe ulaştırma arzusu içerisinde olmuştur. Bununla birlikte, insanın diğer varlıklar arasında kendini tanrılaştırma isteği de her daim var olmuştur. İnsandaki bu değişim sürecine teknoloji de eşlik etmekte ve bu süreçte yeni kavramlar tartışma gündemine girmektedir. Ütopya türünden eserlerin yazımı felsefi tartışmaları içinde barındırdığı için önemlidir. Bu yazımın sürekliliği kesintiye uğramadığı gibi, son dönemlerde de sayısı artmıştır. H. G. Wells’in “Tanrı İnsanlar” eserinin değerlendirildiği bu makalede, araştırmalarımıza göre, ütopya türünde ilk defa rastladığımız paralel evren fikri işlenmektedir. Darwinizmin etkisinin ve alternatif evren fikirlerinin yaygın olduğu dönemde yazılmış olan bu ütopya, mekân bakımından farklı olsa da içerik bakımından ütopyalarla benzerlik göstermektedir. Ütopyada tanrılaştırma konusu tek başına işlenebilirdi. Ancak günümüzde insan tartışmaları ütopyanın gerçekliğe evrildiği bir aşamaya geçmektedir. Bu bağlamda transhümanizm çalışmaları göze çarpmaktadır. Bu makalede ütopya ile bağlantılı olarak insana tanrısal vasıflar yüklenmesi ve transhümanist amaçlar birlikte ele alınmaya çalışılacaktır.

N2  - The evaluations of man regarding his place in the universe have changed over time, and as a being that does not accept its current state, it has always desired to achieve perfection. However, the desire to deify himself among other beings has always existed. Technology also accompanies this process of change in man, and new concepts enter the discussion agenda in this process. The writing of works in the utopian genre is important because it includes philosophical discussions. The continuity of this writing has not been interrupted, and its number has increased in recent years. In this article, which evaluates H. G. Wells's work "Men Like Gods", the idea of a parallel universe, which we encounter for the first time in the utopian genre, is discussed according to our research. This utopia, written during the period when the influence of Darwinism and alternative universe ideas were widespread, is similar to utopias in terms of content, although it is different in terms of place. The subject of deification could be dealt with alone in utopia. However, today's discussions on man are moving to a stage where utopia evolves into reality. In this context, transhumanism studies stand out. In this article, the attribution of divine qualities to human beings in connection with utopia and transhumanist goals will be discussed together.
