The research data were collected from four- and five-star hotel employees in Nevşehir, one of the vital tourism destinations of Türkiye. The research model was analyzed via partial least squares. The findings show that work-family conflict decreases job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive effect on the dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior as altruism, courtesy, sportsmanship, and civic virtue, but it does not have a significant effect on conscientiousness behavior. While job satisfaction plays a mediation role in the effect of work-family conflict on the dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior as altruism, courtesy, sportsmanship, and civic virtue, it does not significantly mediate the effect of work-family conflict on conscientiousness behavior. Lastly, job embeddedness moderates the effect of job satisfaction on the behaviors of courtesy, sportsmanship, and civic virtue, which are the dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior. However, job embeddedness does not have a significant moderation effect in the effect of job satisfaction on the behaviors of altruism and conscientiousness, which are the dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior.
