AB  - Amaç: Erken teşhis diğer tüm kanser tiplerinde olduğu gibi bu kanser tipinde de sağ kalım ve morbidite oranını düşürmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, hastaların ağız kanseri farkındalığını değerlendirmektir.Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu anket çalışması radyoloji kliniğine dental muayene amacıyla başvurmuş̧ toplam 273 gönüllü hasta üzerinde gerçekleştirildi. Bu anket içerisinde yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim seviyesi gibi demografik ve kişisel soruların yanında; ağız kanseri bilgi düzeyini ölçme amaçlı 15 adet soru soruldu. Tanımlayıcı istatistikler sayı ve yüzde kullanılarak sunuldu.Bulgular: Çalışmamıza katılan gönüllülerin %41’i daha önce ağız kanserini duyduğunu belirtmiştir. N2  - Aim: Early diagnosis reduces the rate of survival and morbidity in this type of cancer, as in all other cancer types. The aim of this study is to evaluate the awareness of oral cancer in patients.Material and Methods: This questionnaire study was carried out on 273 volunteer patients who applied to the radiology clinic for dental examination.
