AB  - Crimes against humanity, war crimes, and, in the worst cases, genocides, have occurred throughout human history. These violent and brutal attacks may seem inherent to human societies, shaped by their historical contexts. This is just a suggestion, there are many alternatives. Nonetheless, this may seem to us like that due to the fact all those actions were the outcome of violent human nature fed with the endless ambitions and interests of the cruel states and societies of the world history. Therefore, we, as the humans, folks, clever living creatures of this world, are to blame in creating all that bloody world history. No one but, we are to blame for that since we had been silent and deaf to all those violent, hatred, and bloody massacres and crimes against humanity for thousands of years. Because of all those silent attitudes, approaches and standings, the world had again lived one of the most cruel and violent crimes and genocide of the world history ever, in the Second World War in the disgusting realm of the Holocaust. However, nothing has changed for the world folks in spite of the disgusting scenes, experiences and world of the Holocaust. Humanity was silent and deaf once again. Accordingly, in the last half of the 20th century, those unlawful state and folks’ actions, all violating the international law from eastern Zaire, Rwanda, Bosnia, Somalia and Somaliland to Cambodia, Cyprus and many more others, had gone down in world history as a black mark. In this context, this study aims to explore international law violations and genocide from Cyprus to Bosnia by questioning the indifferent and uncaring approaches of the international society to those crimes against humanity and, proposing to strengthen civic culture and society in order to oppose those crimes against humanity more humanely.
