AB  - Tüketim toplumunun doğuşu, özellikle II. Dünya Savaşı sonrası yeni bir kuşağın yoğun bir biçim de toplumsal sahnede yerini alması, bilimdeki ilerlemeler, bunların düşünce ve sanat olayları üstündeki etkileri gibi son derece farklı nedenlerden kaynaklanan çok sayıdaki etmenin baskısıyla, 1960’lı yılların sanat tarihi, güçlü değişim hareketlerine sahne olmuştur. Bunun en temel sebepleri, modernist süreçte yaşanan başarısız tecrübelerdir; iki büyük dünya savaşının yarattığı yıkımlar, Nazizm, soykırımlar, Hiroşima ve Nagazaki’ye atılan atom bombaları, dünya çapında yaşanan ekonomik krizler, temelinde kapitalizmin bulunduğu sömürgecilik girişimleri, yaşam biçimlerinde gözle görülür standartlaşmalar ve sonucunda insanlığın geleceğini tehdit edecek ekolojik sorunlar gibi. Bunlar, modernizmin; hep tarihin daha iyi bir yere gittiği, sürekli ilerlemeyi içerdiği, her şeyin çözülebileceği gibi inançların yitirilmesine neden olmuştur. Tüm bu süreçlerden sonra sanatsal üretimlerde de dönüşüm başlamıştır. O güne dek yerleşmiş olan ‘güzel ve estetik’ kurallara sırt çevrilmeye, alışılmış biçim değerlerine karşı konulmaya ve ‘fikrin’ ön plana çıkartılmasına başlanmıştır. Dolayısıyla, 1960’lı yılların ortalarından itibaren düşünceyi, maddesel olgulara üstün tutan, akılcı bir sanatsal anlayış gelişmeye başlamıştır. Öz ve biçim bağlamındaki bu değişikliklerle; sanat üretimlerinde de sadece tuval üzerine yapılan çalışmalarla sınırlı kalmamış, aklımıza gelebilecek her şekilde ve her platformda ortaya konmaya başlanmıştır. Çalışma; modernizm sonrası bu tür sanatsal üretimlerin performansa ve interaktifliğe dayalı olanları, yerel ve evrensel örneklerle bir seçki niteliğinde ele alıp bu konuda farkındalık yaratmayı amaçlamıştır.

N2  - The emergence of the consumer society, especially the intense presence of a new generation on the social stage after World War II, scientific advances and their effects on thought and art events, under the pressure of many factors originating from very different reasons, the art history of the 1960s witnessed strong movements of change. The most fundamental reasons for this are the unsuccessful experiences experienced in the Modernist process; the destructions caused by the two great world wars, Nazism, genocides, the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the economic crises experienced worldwide, the colonial attempts based on capitalism, the visible standardization in lifestyles and the ecological problems that would threaten the future of humanity as a result. These caused the loss of the belief that Modernism always goes to a better place, that it involves continuous progress and that everything can be solved. After all these processes, a transformation also began in artistic productions. The rules of ‘beauty and aesthetics’ that had been settled until then were turned away, conventional formal values were opposed and the ‘idea’ was brought to the forefront. Therefore, from the mid-1960s onwards, a rational artistic understanding that prioritized thought over material phenomena began to develop. With these changes in the context of essence and form; art productions were not limited to works made on canvas only, but began to be presented in every way and platform we could think of. The study aims to raise awareness on this issue by considering the performance and interactivity-based artistic productions of this kind after Modernism as a selection with local and universal examples.
