AB  - Tracheal perforation after thyroidectomy is a rare complication. A 50-year-old woman, who underwent total thyroidectomy for multinodular goiter, developed tracheal perforation on the 10th postoperative day following a severe coughing episode. The perforation was repaired surgically, and the patient was discharged. This case highlights that tracheal perforation can occur in the late postoperative period and underscores the importance of early intervention.

N2  - Tiroidektomi sonrası trakea perforasyonu nadir bir komplikasyondur. 50 yaşındaki bir kadın hastada, multipl nodüler guatr nedeniyle yapılan total tiroidektomi sonrasında 10. günde şiddetli öksürük sonucu trakea perforasyonu gelişti. Cerrahi müdahale ile perforasyon onarıldı ve hasta sorunsuz bir şekilde taburcu edildi. Bu vaka, tiroidektomi sonrası trakea perforasyonunun geç dönemde ortaya çıkabileceğini ve erken müdahalenin önemini göstermektedir.
