The primary objective of this research is to determine the areas within Gaziantep that exhibit the lowest quality of urban life and to provide actionable insights for urban planning and land use strategies. By doing so, the study aims to bridge the gap between current urban challenges and the potential for sustainable and equitable development. The research utilizes a holistic methodology that integrates both subjective and objective approaches. Subjective assessments gauge residents’ perceptions, satisfaction, and lived experiences, while objective evaluations rely on empirical indicators such as population density, accessibility to public services, housing conditions, green spaces, and economic metrics. Combining these approaches offers a nuanced perspective on the dynamics of urban life quality. This research contributes to the broader discourse on urban quality of life by offering a replicable framework for analysis and intervention. The findings are expected to guide policymakers, urban planners, and local governments in crafting strategies that address both immediate and long-term urban challenges. By prioritizing equitable development and sustainable practices, this study advocates for a future where Gaziantep’s urban fabric supports a higher quality of life for all its residents.}, number={02}, publisher={Mersin University}
