For this purpose, the bibliotherapy elements in children’s literature works of Mevlana İdris Zengin, whose works are suitable for the level of primary school students and are read both in class and outside the class, were examined and the resulting elements were evaluated in the context of their contribution to the reading culture and personality development of primary school students. It was determined that a group of 89 teachers were divided into groups, with which developmental area the identified one was presented. 25 of the bibliotherapy studies are developed in the field of theoretical development, 17 in the field of social development and 7 in the field of emotional development. 58 tales in the author’s 48 tale books are separated as bibliotherapy elements are specified. The research was analyzed using qualitative research methods, detailed analysis method and findings using descriptive analysis method. The works were registered through the Form for Evaluating Children’s Literature Works According to Bibliotherapy Criteria developed by the researcher. As a result of the examinations, 1041 bibliotherapy elements were identified. It contains 569 areas with healthy development areas, 349 with social development areas, and 123 with emotional development areas. The prominent elements at the end of the research are; These are the development of high-level thinking processes, the processing of information against experienced events, and the evaluation of the love of literature by gaining reading skills and habits.
