Explored are the connections between some elements of productivity in 45 spring barley varieties by applying correlation and path coefficient analysis. Analyzed are the characteristics productive tillers, spike length, number of grains, number of spikelets, grain weight per spike, 1000 grain weight. Though correlation and path coefficient analysis, it was revealed that among different characters which showed positive significant association with grain yield, are productive tillers, grain weight per spike and 1000 grain weight. Maximum direct contribution to productivity was made by weight per spike, followed by productive tillers. Therefore, these traits can be used as selection criteria to increase plant yield in barley}, number={Özel Sayı-2}, publisher={Mevlüt AKÇURA}
