AB  - ChatGPT, günümüzde insan hayatının kaçınılmaz bir parçası hâline gelen yapay zekâ modellerinin en gelişmişlerinden biridir. Kullanım alanları bir hayli çeşitli olan ChatGPT, genel olarak bir insanın yapabileceği birçok işi yapan çok yönlü bir araç niteliğindedir. Yapay zekanın “doğal dil işleme” alanı içerisinde bulunan bu model, insan dilini anlamak ve yorumlamak üzere geliştirilmiştir. Piyasaya sunulduğu andan itibaren, sağladığı imkânların yanında kısıtlılıkları ve riskleri de tartışma konusu olmuş, bu konularda şimdiden çok sayıda çalışma ortaya konmuştur. Bu çalışmada ChatGPT’nin kurgusal anlatı üretme yeterliliği üzerinde durulacaktır. İnsanlar tarafından yazılan kurgusal metinlerdeki gibi bir söylem çeşitliliği sağlayıp sağlamadığı, serbest dolaylı söylem gibi karmaşık bilinç yansıtma tekniklerini ne ölçüde kullandığı ve genel olarak karakter, mekân, olay örgüsü vb. temel anlatı unsurlarını hangi stratejilerle işlevsel hâle getirdiği incelenecektir.  Bu amaçla, ChatGPT’ye 20 adet Türkçe komut girilerek 20 farklı kurgusal anlatı (hikâye/öykü) üretmesi sağlanmıştır. Yazıldıkları anlatı durumlarına göre tasnif edilen bu anlatılar ilgili hususlara göre analize tabi tutulacak ve çeşitli bulgulara ulaşılacaktır.

N2  - ChatGPT is one of the most advanced artificial intelligence models that has become an integral part of everyday human life. ChatGPT, whose areas of usage are highly diversified, is generally a versatile tool capable of performing many tasks that a human can do. This model, which belongs to the field of “Natural Language Processing (NLP)” within artificial intelligence, has been developed to understand and interpret human language. Its limitations and risks have also become a subject of discussion alongside the benefits it has provided since its release, and many studies have already been conducted on these topics. In this paper, emphasis will be placed on ChatGPT’s ability to generate fictional narratives. It will be investigated whether it handles discursive diversity in the same way as fictional texts written by humans, to what extent it has used complex consciousness representation techniques such as free indirect discourse and, in general, which strategies it has employed to make basic narrative components like character, setting, and plot functional. For this purpose, 20 prompts were given to ChatGPT, and it was instructed to generate 20 different fictional narratives (stories). The narratives, classified according to the narrative situations in which they were generated, will be analyzed, leading to various findings.
