Uygun fiyatlı menstrüel hijyen ürünlerine erişim ve bunların kullanımı, menstrüel hijyeni yönetmek için önemlidir. Menstrüel hijyen yönetiminde; çevre dostu ürünlerle sağlıklı menstrüel hijyen uygulamalarını gözlemlemek, sürdürülebilir ve daha yeşil alternatiflerin değerlendirilmesi önemlidir. Bu derlemenin amacı; menstrüel hijyende sürdürülebilir alternatif ürünlere dikkat çekmektir.Yöntem: Derleme niteliğindeki bu çalışma “menstrüel hijyen”, “menstrüasyon”, “sürdürülebilir ürünler” ve bağlantılı kelimeler açısından elektronik veri tabanlarında (Google Scholar, PubMed, Science Direct, Web of Science, Cochrane ve Mendeley) taranmıştır.Bulgular: Menstrüel hijyen yönetiminde; yıkanabilir bez pedler, regl külodu, yeniden kullanılabilir tamponlar, menstrüel kap, menstrüel disk, bambu lifli pedler, muz lifli pedler, menstrüel sünger, su sümbülü pedler, hijyenik pedler ve tamponlar kullanılabilmektedir.Sonuç: Mestrüal hijyen yönetiminde; yıkanabilir bez ped, regl külotu, yeniden kullanılabilir tampon, menstrüel kap, menstrüel disk, bambu lifli ped, menstrüel sünger ve su sümbülü pedler sürdürülebilir alternatif ürünler arasında yer almaktadır. Access to and use of affordable menstrual hygiene products is important for managing menstrual hygiene. In menstrual hygiene management, it is important to observe healthy menstrual hygiene practices with environmentally friendly products and to evaluate sustainable and greener alternatives. This review was written to draw attention to sustainable alternative products for menstrual hygiene. Methods: This review article was searched for “menstrual hygiene”, “menstruation”, “sustainable products” and related words in electronic databases (Google Scholar, PubMed, Science Direct, Web of Science, Cochrane and Mendeley). Results: Washable cloth pads, menstrual panties, reusable tampons, menstrual cups, menstrual discs, bamboo fiber pads, banana fiber pads, menstrual sponges, water hyacinth pads, sanitary napkins and tampons are used in menstrual hygiene management. Conclusion: Washable cloth pads, menstrual panties, reusable tampons, menstrual cups, menstrual discs, bamboo fiber pads, banana fiber pads, menstrual sponges and water hyacinth pads are sustainable alternative products.
