Bazı çalışmalar anlamsal geçirimliliğin etkisinin olmadığına ve biçim-yazımsal bilginin kullanıldığına dair kanıtlar sunarken, anlamsal geçirimliliğin etkili olduğunu ortaya çıkaran ve biçim-anlambilimsel bilginin kullanımını destekleyen çalışmalar da vardır. Az sayıda çalışma ise her iki bilgi türünün kullanımını içeren hibrit bir modeli desteklemiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, türetim biçimbirimleriyle türetilmiş sözcüklerin işlemleme örüntülerini ana dili Türkçe olan tek dilli yetişkin bireylerde araştırmaktır. Maskelenmiş hazırlama deneyi kullanılarak toplanan veriler, tek dilli Türkçe konuşucularının anlamsal olarak hem geçirimli hem de geçirimsiz sözcükleri biçimbirim bileşenlerine ayırdıklarını, ancak birbiriyle yalnız yazılış yönünden örtüşen sözcükleri biçimbirim bileşenlerine ayırmadıklarını göstermektedir. Elde edilen bulgular; tek dilli Türkçe konuşucularının türetim biçimbirimleriyle türetilmiş sözcükleri işlemlerken biçim-yazımsal bilgiyi kullandığını göstermiş, ancak anlamsal geçirimliliğin işlemleme süreci üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir etkisini tespit etmemiştir. While some studies find no effect of transparency and support the use of morpho-orthographic information, there are also studies that reveal the effect of transparency together with the use of morpho-semantic information. And few studies posit the hybrid model, which includes the use of both information types. This study aims to explore the processing of derived words in monolingual adult Turkish speakers. The results of the masked priming experiment indicate that monolingual Turkish speakers decompose both transparent and opaque words, but words in the orthographic-only overlap condition are not decomposed. These results show that monolingual Turkish speakers employ morpho-orthographic information, but the effect of semantic transparency on the processing of Turkish derived words does not turn out to be statistically significant.
