It includes sabotage of contraceptive methods, intimate partner violence, and peer pressures to reproduce. This can hinder women’s access to healthcare. The purpose of this review is to comprehensively address the various dimensions of reproductive coercion and to evaluate possible approaches to solving this problem.Generally, experiences of domestic violence may coincide with reproductive coercion. Although the literature explaining the pathology of reproductive coercion is limited, increasing data regarding the harm done to reproductive choices, health outcomes, and future pregnancies indicates that more awareness and education are needed. This review investigates the current knowledge on reproductive coercion and highlights future research areas. Additionally, it aims to provide guidance on how healthcare providers can better serve this population. CR - 1. Miller E, et al.
