Kalpte SA düğüm dışında üretilen anormal impulslara ektopik impulslar denir. Ektopik impulslar kökenini atriyum, kavşak veya ventrikülden alabilir ve buna göre atriyal, kavşak, supraventriküler veya ventriküler ektopik atımlar şeklinde isimlendirilir. Aritmi, kardiyak kökenli veya kardiyak kökenli olmayan biçimlerde olabilir. Kedi ve köpeklerde aritmi yüksek ölüm oranlarına neden olmaktadır. Aritmi gelişen kedi ve köpeklerde anti aritmik ilaçların kullanılması klinik belirtilerde olumlu gelişme sağlar ve yaşam sürelerini uzatır. Bu çalışma kapsamında aritmilerin etiyoloji, prevalans, klinik bulgular, tanı, klinik bildirimler ve aritmilerin sağaltımında kullanılan ilaçlar kapsamlı şekilde ele alındı. Son yıllara ait bilimsel kaynaklar geniş şekilde irdelenerek klinisyen veteriner hekimlere uygulama yönünden kolaylık sağlaması bakımından, sağaltımda en çok kullanılan ilaçlar hakkında kapsamlı bilgiler verildi. KW - Kedi KW - köpek KW - kalp KW - aritmi KW - sağaltım N2 - Rhythm irregularities in the heart, cardiac arrhythmias, are caused by abnormalities in the generation or conduction of impulses, or both. Abnormal impulses generated outside the SA node in the heart are called ectopic impulses. Ectopic impulses may originate from the atrium, junction or ventricle and are named accordingly as atrial, junctional, supraventricular or ventricular ectopic beats. Arrhythmia can be of cardiac or non-cardiac origin. Arrhythmia in cats and dogs cause high mortality rates. The use of anti-arrhythmic drugs in cats and dogs with arrhythmia provides a positive improvement in clinical signs and prolongs their life expectancy. Within the scope of this study, the aetiology, prevalence, clinical findings, diagnosis, clinical reports and drugs used in the treatment of arrhythmias were comprehensively discussed. By extensively analyzing scientific sources of recent years, comprehensive information about the most commonly used drugs in treatment has been given in order to facilitate the clinician veterinarians in terms of application.
