Katılımcılar hız temelli antrenman grubu (HTAG, n=7) ve yüzde temelli antrenman grubu (YTAG, n=7) olarak ikiye ayrılmıştır. HTAG, %20 hız kaybı limitiyle haftada iki gün, 6 hafta boyunca hız temelli antrenman yaparken; YTAG, maksimal kuvvet yüzdesine dayalı tekrar sayılarına göre çalışmıştır. Çalışma öncesi ve sonrası ölçümlerde maksimal squat ve hip thrust kuvveti, reaktif kuvvet indeksi (RSI), 5 m sürat testi hızlanma değeri ve maksimal sıçrama yüksekliği kaydedilmiştir. Grup içi karşılaştırmalarda Wilcoxon testi, gruplar arası karşılaştırmalarda Mann-Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: HTAG’nin, YTAG’ye kıyasla %80 squat egzersizinde %38,4, %80 hip thrust’ta %24,6, %70 squat’ta %43,5 ve %70 hip thrust’ta %37,2 daha az tekrar yaptığı bulunmuştur. Ancak squat, hip thrust, hızlanma, sıçrama ve RSI performansında anlamlı değişim saptanmamıştır (p>0,05).Sonuç: Elde edilen bulgular, hız temelli antrenmanın azaltılmış antrenman hacmine karşın kuvvet, sıçrama ve hızlanma performansını koruyabildiğini göstermektedir. KW - Hız Temelli Antrenman KW - Voleybol KW - Sıçrama KW - Hızlanma N2 - Aim: In this study, the effects of velocity-based strength training (VBT) compared to percentage-based strength training (PBT) on acceleration and jump performance in young female volleyball players were investigated.Method: Fourteen elite-level female volleyball players aged 17–19 years participated in the study. The participants were divided into the velocity-based training group (VBTG, n=7) and the percentage-based training group (PBTG, n=7). The VBTG performed velocity-based training twice a week for 6 weeks with a 20% velocity loss limit, while the PBTG trained based on repetition numbers determined by the percentage of maximal strength. Before and after the study, maximal squat and hip thrust strength, reactive strength index (RSI), 5 m sprint acceleration value, and maximal jump height were recorded. The Wilcoxon test was used for within-group comparisons, and the Mann-Whitney U test was used for between-group comparisons.Results: It was found that the VBTG performed 38,4% fewer repetitions in the 80% squat exercise, 24,6% fewer in the 80% hip thrust, 43,5% fewer in the 70% squat, and 37,2% fewer in the 70% hip thrust compared to the PBTG. However, no significant change was determined in squat, hip thrust, acceleration, jump, and RSI performance (p > 0,05).Conclusion: The findings indicate that velocity-based training can preserve strength, jumping and acceleration performance despite reduced training volume.
