Using a method inspired by Caldara and Iacoviello’s geopolitical risk model, conference minutes were scanned for geographic references. The goal is to quantify which Balkan regions were most emphasized, offering insights into shifting geopolitical interests and strategies, especially concerning Russian influence. Approximately 300 meetings were held during this conference, which lasted from July 1946 to October 1946. In these meetings, the mentioned geographical regions were identified and their geopolitical weight percentage was determined. Nearly 2000 geographical areas have been identified and their distribution is shown in tables and maps. The study aims to be a preliminary step in determining how the geopolitical weight in the Balkans has changed over the years.}, number={14, June 2025}, publisher={Mehmet HACISALİHOĞLU}
