AB  - A new species of the genus Storchia (Stigmaeidae), S. brevisetosa sp. nov., is morphologically described herein based on protonymph, deutonymph, male and female specimens collected from Türkiye, with original drawings of the species also presented. The female of the new species is distinguished from the known species by the presence of three pairs of setae on the genital shields, a distinctly shorter setae ve and different measurement lengths and ratios of some dorsal body setae. Storchia (=Apostigmaeus) aegyptiaca (Soliman & Gomaa, 1986), should be regarded as a nomen nudum.

N2  - Türkiye’den toplanan Storchia (Stigmaeidae) cinsine ait örnekler üzerinden yeni bir tür, S. brevisetosa sp. nov., protonimf, deutonimf, erkek ve dişi bireyler üzerinden morfolojik olarak tanımlanmış ve türün orijinal çizimlerine yer verilmiştir. Yeni türün dişi bireyleri, genital plaklarında üç çift kılın bulunması, ve kılının belirgin şekilde daha kısa olması ve bazı vücut kıllarının farklı ölçüm uzunluk ve oranları ile bilinen türlerden ayrılmaktadır. Storchia (=Apostigmaeus) aegyptiaca (Soliman & Gomaa, 1986) nomen nudum olarak değerlendirilmelidir.
