The brachial plexus is the nerve network that provides innervation to the anterior and lateral parts of the chest and all parts of the forelimbs. Its variation among species is of great importance especially in terms of surgical and anesthesia applications. In this study, dissection was performed on 8 male Honamlı goats between 2-2,5 years of age. The brachial plexus was found to consist of ventral branches of C6, C7, C8 and T1 spinal nerves. As a result of the dissections, the origin, course, neighborhood and innervated structures of the nerves such as n. suprascapularis, n. subscapulares, n. musculocutaneus, n. axillaris, n. pectorales craniales et caudales, n. thoracicus longus, n. thoracodorsalis, n. thoracicus lateralis, n. radialis, n. medianus, n. ulnaris were described in detail. It is thought that the findings obtained will provide important contributions in terms of nerve blocks and surgical planning by providing species-specific anatomical data on the brachial plexus of the Honamlı goat.
