The robotic arm and end effector were designed. The engineering analyses with Finite Element Methods (FEM) were applied to the preliminary structure of the end effector to confirm the feasibility of the topology optimization process. Topology optimization was then applied to the end effector with the same analysis conditions. The optimization process resulted in a good amount of weight reduction while maintaining the mechanical integrity of the structure. These findings highlight the effectiveness of topology optimization for improving structural efficiency of a designed end effector.}, number={2}, publisher={Yalova University}
