AB  - Memelilerin atrium kas hücrelerinde çoğunlukla yuvarlak, elek- iron yoğun granüller bulunmaktadır, Bu granüller natriuretik ve vazoğilatator etkili bir çeşit peptidleri içerirler ve immunohistokimyasal yöntemlerle boyanırlar. Bu immunreaktif atrial natriüretik polipeptidler C(ANP) aynı zamanda pulmoner venlerde, veya kavalarda ,tük- rük bezlerinde, böbreklerde, adrenal bez meduilasunda hipofiz bezinde ve beyinde de gözlenmiştir,

N2  - Large population of spherical, electron-opague granules are characteristically found in muscle fibers of mammalian atria. These granules have a variety of peptides with natriuretic and vasorelaxant activities, which can be stained by immunohistochemical methods. These immunoreactive atrial natriuretic factors (ANF) were also detected in ventricules, pulmonary vein, venae cavae, salivary glands, kidneys, adrenal medulla, pituitary glands and brain.
