(Retrospective analysis of 85 injured patients)
Eighty-five multiple abdominal organ injuries treated between the years 1973- 1979 were studied retrospectively. İn this series, 90 percent were mal cand the. average age was 24.8 years. The most important causes of injury were firearms 47 percent and traffic accidents 32 percent. In cariy diagnosis peritoneal paracentesis has been successful in 93.7 percent the cases. | In 85 multiple abdominal orkan injuries the total postoperative complicatio rate and the total mortality were 41 percent and 35.2 percent, respectively.}, number={4}, publisher={Ankara University}
