AB  - Bu çalışma, tasarım süreçlerini araştırmaya yönelik kullanılan linkografi yöntemini, bireysel bir vaka çalışması üzerinden uygulamalı bir örneğini sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Tasarımın sezgisel ve öznel doğasını anlamlandırmak ve araştırmak için çeşitli analiz yöntemleri geliştirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda araştırmacının kendi yürüttüğü bir tasarım oturumu veri kaynağı olarak kullanılmıştır. Tasarım oturumunda bir tasarım görevi üzerinden sesli düşünme, çizim ve gözlem verileri toplanmış; bu veriler önce protokol analizine, ardından FBS (Function–Behavior–Structure) sistemine göre kategorilere ayrılmıştır. Son olarak Linkoder yazılımı kullanılarak tasarım hareketlerinin bağlantılarının yer aldığı ağ haritası çıkarılmış; hem nitel örüntüler (chunk, web, sawtooth) hem de nicel veriler (bağlantı indeksi, entropi, kritik hareketler) üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, protokol analizi ve linkografi yönteminin tasarım sürecini analiz etmek için kullanılabileceğini ortaya koymuştur. Uygulama sürecinde karşılaşılan yazılım sınırlılıkları, veri toplama koşulları ve yöntemsel gözlemler açıkça belirtilmiş; gelecekte bu alanda yapılacak araştırmalar için çeşitli öneriler geliştirilmiştir

N2  - This study aims to present a practical application of the linkography method in understanding design processes through an individual case study. Various analytical approaches have been utilized to explore the nature of design and the individuality of the designer. In this reflective study, the researcher used data collected from a self-conducted design task, including think-aloud verbalizations, drawings, and observational records. These data were first segmented and analyzed through protocol analysis, followed by coding according to the FBS (Function–Behavior–Structure) model. Subsequently, a network map of design moves was generated using the Linkoder software, allowing for both qualitative (chunk, web, sawtooth patterns) and quantitative (link index, entropy, critical moves) analyses. The results demonstrate that protocol analysis and linkography can be effectively applied to investigate the structure and evolution of the design process. Limitations related to software functionality, data collection conditions, and methodological aspects are clearly identified, and several suggestions for future research are also provided.
