AB  - This paper presents two cases where intravenous adrenaline was inadvertently administered instead of atropine during halothane anesthesia. Both patients experienced abrupt onset of tachycardia, hypertension, and cardiac arrhythmias. Prompt interventions—discontinuation of halothane and N₂O, initiation of 100% oxygen ventilation, and administration of thiopental and antihypertensives (Serpasil, Citanest)—led to rapid stabilization. No postoperative complications were observed. Literature review confirms halothane sensitizes the myocardium to catecholamines, and intravenous adrenaline under halothane anesthesia poses significant arrhythmic risk. These cases underscore the contraindication of intravenous adrenaline in halothane anesthesia and the critical importance of rapid clinical response in accidental administration.

N2  - Bu çalışma, halothane anestezisi sırasında atropin yerine yanlışlıkla intravenöz adrenalin enjekte edilen iki vakanın klinik yönetimini sunmaktadır. Her iki vakada da enjeksiyon sonrası ciddi taşikardi, hipertansiyon ve kardiyak aritmiler gelişmiştir. Hastalar hızlı müdahale ile başarıyla tedavi edilmiş; halothane ve N₂O kesilerek %100 oksijenle hiperventilasyon uygulanmış, thiopental ve antihipertansif ajanlar (Serpasil, Citanest) ile vital bulgular stabilize edilmiştir. Postoperatif dönem komplikasyonsuz seyretmiştir. Literatür taraması, halothane'in miyokardı adrenalin’e karşı hassaslaştırdığı ve intravenöz adrenalin uygulamasının ventriküler aritmiye yol açabileceğini göstermektedir. Ancak tedbirler zamanında alındığında intravenöz adrenalin kaynaklı komplikasyonlar önlenebilir. Bu vakalar, intravenöz adrenalin kullanımının halothane anestezisinde kesin kontrendike olduğunu vurgularken, olası hatalarda erken müdahalenin yaşamsal önem taşıdığını göstermektedir.
