AB  - Türkiye tarafından geliştirilen Orta Koridor girişimi, Türkiye’den başlayarak demiryolu ve karayolu bağlantılarıyla sırasıyla Gürcistan, Azerbaycan ve Hazar Denizine, buradan da Türkmenistan - Özbekistan - Kırgızistan veya Kazakistan güzergâhını takip ederek Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti’ne ulaşılmasını sağlamaktadır. Bu araştırmada bölgesel işbirliği stratejisinin önemli bir parçası olan Orta Koridor girişimi, Türkiye’nin Orta Asya’da Türk işbirliğinin sağlanması stratejisi üzerinden ele alınmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı Türkiye tarafından geliştirilen Orta Koridor girişiminin yapısal sürdürülebilirliğini değerlendirerek bu girişimin Türkiye ile Orta Asya devletleri arasındaki bölgesel ticaretin ve ekonomik entegrasyonun güçlendirilmesine nasıl katkı sağladığını ortaya koymaktır. Nitel bir araştırma yöntemi kapsamında literatür taramasıyla elde edilen veriler, veri analizi teknikleri kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak ilgili ülkeler arasında ekonomik, siyasi ve kültürel entegrasyonu hızlandırma potansiyeline sahip stratejik bir proje olan Orta Koridor’un lojistik ve ticari entegrasyon yoluyla Türk dünyasının ekonomik bütünleşmesini sağlarken ticaret ve yatırımları artırarak bu ülkelerin Rusya ve Çin’e olan ekonomik bağımlılığını azaltma fırsatı sunacağı görüşüne varılmıştır. Orta Koridor girişiminin uzun vadeli yapısal sürdürülebilirliği Türkiye ve Orta Asya devletleri arasındaki bölgesel ticaretin ve ekonomik entegrasyonun artırılmasına katkı sunacaktır.

N2  - The Middle Corridor initiative, developed by Türkiye, establishes a transport route that begins in Türkiye and extends through Georgia, Azerbaijan, and the Caspian Sea, before continuing via either the Turkmenistan -Uzbekistan - Kyrgyzstan or Kazakhstan corridor to reach the People’s Republic of China. In this study, the Middle Corridor initiative (an essential component of Türkiye’s regional cooperation strategy) is examined within the framework of Türkiye’s efforts to promote Turkic cooperation in Central Asia. The primary aim is to assess the structural sustainability of the initiative and to explore how it contributes to strengthening regional trade and economic integration between Türkiye and the Central Asian states. Employing a qualitative research design, data collected through an extensive literature review were analyzed using established data analysis techniques. The findings suggest that the Middle Corridor, as a strategic project with the potential to accelerate economic, political, and cultural integration among the countries concerned, not only enhances the economic cohesion of the Turkic world through logistics and trade integration but also creates opportunities to reduce their economic dependence on Russia and China by increasing trade and investment flows. Ultimately, the long-term structural sustainability of the Middle Corridor is expected to contribute significantly to the deepening of regional trade and economic integration between Türkiye and the Central Asian states.
