Araştırma, nitel yöntemler doğrultusunda durum çalışması modeliyle yürütülmüş; örneklemi, kırsal turizm çalıştayına katılan 47 kişiden oluşmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında kişisel bilgi formu ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış; elde edilen veriler, NVivo 12 yazılımıyla içerik analizi yöntemiyle kodlanarak tematik olarak sınıflandırılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, doğa temelli açık alan etkinliklerinin özellikle dağ bisikleti, trekking ve arama-kurtarma uygulamalarının yalnızca fiziksel düzenlemelerle sınırlı kalmayıp, mekânsal, yönetsel, sosyo-ekonomik ve çevresel boyutları içeren bütüncül bir yaklaşımla ele alınması gerektiğini göstermektedir. Katılımcı görüşleri yedi ana temada toplanmış; dağ bisikletinde rota sınıflandırması, rehberlik yeterliliği, turizm stratejileri ve çevresel sürdürülebilirlik; arama-kurtarmada yerel yapılanmalar, teknik altyapı ve uzman eğitimi; trekkingde ise doğal-kültürel miras, yönlendirme, güvenlik ve yerel katılım ön plana çıkmıştır. Doğa temelli açık alan etkinliklerinin planlama, uygulama ve yönetim süreçlerinde yalnızca fiziksel altyapı unsurlarına değil; aynı zamanda sosyal katılım, çevresel sürdürülebilirlik ve yönetsel organizasyonel bütünlüğe dayalı çok katmanlı bir yaklaşıma ihtiyaç duyduğunu açıkça ortaya koymaktadır. KW - Doğa Tabanlı Rekreasyon KW - Parkur Planlama KW - Kırsal Turizm N2 - The purpose of this study is to identify the existing needs, planning criteria, and development proposals for trekking, mountain biking, and search-and-rescue activities in Yusufeli district, based on the perspectives of field experts. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach within the framework of a case study design, with a sample consisting of 47 participants who attended a rural tourism workshop. Data were collected through a personal information form and a semi-structured interview form; the obtained data were coded and thematically classified using content analysis in NVivo 12 software. The findings indicate that nature-based outdoor activities—particularly mountain biking, trekking, and search-and-rescue practices—should not be limited to physical arrangements alone, but should instead be addressed through a holistic approach encompassing spatial, managerial, socio-economic, and environmental dimensions. Participant views were grouped under seven main themes: in mountain biking, route classification, guidance competence, tourism strategies, and environmental sustainability; in search-and-rescue, local structuring, technical infrastructure, and expert training; and in trekking, natural-cultural heritage, wayfinding, safety, and local participation came to the forefront. The results clearly demonstrate that the planning, implementation, and management processes of nature-based outdoor activities require a multi-layered approach that not only focuses on physical infrastructure elements, but also incorporates social participation, environmental sustainability, and managerial-organizational integrity.
