AB  - Bu çalışma, akut mezenter lenfadenitinin klinik özellikleri, etiyolojisi, patolojisi ve ayırıcı tanısına odaklanmaktadır. Akut mezenter lenfadeniti, özellikle çocuklarda ve gençlerde görülen, karın sağ alt kadranında apandisite benzeyen ağrı ve eşlik eden gastrointestinal belirtilerle ortaya çıkan, ileoçekal bölgedeki mezenter lenf bezlerinin nonspesifik akut iltihabıdır. Üç olgu üzerinden yapılan değerlendirmede, hastalığın apandisit ile kolayca karışabileceği, üst solunum yolu enfeksiyonlarının sıklıkla öncesinde yer aldığı ve tanının çoğu zaman ameliyat sırasında konduğu vurgulanmaktadır. Etiyolojide bakteriyel ve viral ajanlar, özellikle streptokok enfeksiyonları üzerinde durulmaktadır. Tedavide, apendektominin yüksek oranda semptomları ortadan kaldırdığı ve hastalığın seyrini iyileştirdiği belirtilmektedir.

N2  - This study focuses on the clinical features, etiology, pathology, and differential diagnosis of acute mesenteric lymphadenitis. Acute mesenteric lymphadenitis is a non-specific acute inflammation of the mesenteric lymph nodes in the ileocecal region, occurring predominantly in children and young adults, and presenting with right lower quadrant abdominal pain mimicking appendicitis, often accompanied by gastrointestinal symptoms. Based on three case reports, it is emphasized that the condition can easily be mistaken for appendicitis, is frequently preceded by upper respiratory tract infections, and is often diagnosed during surgery. Bacterial and viral agents, particularly streptococcal infections, are discussed in the etiology. Appendectomy is reported to significantly relieve symptoms and improve the disease course in most cases.
