AB  - Ceviz çoğaltımı Yalova Bahçecilik Araştırma ve Eğitim Merkezi'nde aşılama yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Aşılamadan yirmi bir gün önce, aşı kalemi olarak kullanılan "Yalova Köşeli" ceviz çeşidinin sürgünlerinden yapraklar alınmış, yaprak sapları sürgünlerde bırakılmıştır. Aşılama iki yaşındaki fideler üzerinde yapılmıştır. Aşağıdaki sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.1. Yama aşılama ve halka aşılama yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Bu iki aşılama yöntemi aynı sonuçları vermiştir.Halka aşılama ile tutma oranı %53, yama aşılama ile tutma oranı ise %49 olmuştur. Yama aşılama yöntemi daha kolay olduğu için tercih edilmelidir.2. Bağlama bantları arasında en iyi sonuç plastikten elde edilmiştir (tutma oranı %71). Rafya ve bantlar yurt dışından ithal edildiğinden plastik kurdeleler tercih edilmelidir.

N2  - Walnut propagation by budding was performed at Yalova Horticultural Research and Training Center. Twenty-one days before budding the leaves were removed from the shoots of "Yalova Köşeli" walnut variety, which were used as Scion the leave petioles were left on the shoots. Budding was done on Two years old seedlings. Following results were obtained.1. Patch budding and Ring budding methods were used. These Two types of budding gave the same results.The percentage of take with ring budding was 53 and with patch budding 49. Bud patch budding should be preferred because it is easier to do.2. From the tying tapes, the best result was obtained from plastic. (percentage of take was 71). Raffia and adhesive tape have to be imported from abroad, therefore the plastic ribbons should be preferred.
