Makale, şu anda Türk yetiştiricileri ve tüketicileri tarafından bilinmeyen kuşkonmazın tanıtımını teşvik etmek amacıyla yazılmıştır.

N2  - The article deals with the first results of newly introduced asparagus varieties. From the 3 French introductions Vilmorin Andrieux is recommended for the Marmara Region because of its present performance. The results of 7 father varieties which were included in the trial at a later stage are not available yet. The article has been written to stimulate the introduction of the asparagus which crop is ip to now not known by Turkish growers and consumers.
