AB  - Türkiye cevizin gen merkezleri arasındadır. Bu durum Türkiye’yi ceviz yetiştiren ülkeler arasında önemli yere sahip kılmaktadır. Türkiye en güçlü ceviz yetiştirin 4. ülkedir. Türkiye’nin gen merkezleri arasında yer alması zengin ceviz popülasyonuna sahip olması önemli bir avantaj sağlamaktadır. Türkiye ceviz ağacı varlığı 15.044.456 adet olup, bunun 5 milyonunun aşılı, geri kalan 10 milyon adetin aşısız çöğür ağaçları olduğu tahmin edilmektedir. Türkiye ceviz üretimi 180.807 olup, ağaç başı verim ortalama 33–37 kg arasında değişmektedir.

N2  - Turkey is among the gene centers of Walnut, also Turkey has an important place among the walnut–cultured countries. Turkey ranks 4ᵗʰ among countries that have grown walnuts. The presence of Turkey among the walnut gene centers has provided an important advantage and it has a rich and wide population in this kind of fruit. Turkey has around 13.2 million walnut trees and it is estimated that about 5 million of these trees are grafted, while the remaining 10 million are not–garfted of walnut trees. The walnut production in Turkey is 180.807 thousand tons and the yield per tree is about 33–37 kg.
