AB  - Antepfıstığında düzensiz meyve verme (periyodisite) ve buna bağlı olarak ürün azlığı yetiştiricilikte karşılaşılan önemli sorunların başında gelmektedir. Bitkinin yeterli ve dengeli beslenmemesi sonucunda bitki gelişiminin tam olmaması, verim düşüklüğü ve kalite bozukluğu gibi sorunlarla karşılaşılmaktadır. Meyve, meyve gözü ve yaprak arasında oluşan besin kullanma yarışında meyvenin baskın gelmesiyle tomurcuklar ve yapraklar yeterli beslenmedikleri için dökülerek periyodisitenin kaynağını oluşturmaktadır Ülkemizde antepfıstığında periyodisite nedeniyle önemli verim ve fiyat dalgalanmaları meydana gelmektedir. Bu da dış pazarlarda rekabet gücümüzü azaltmaktadır. Bu çalışmada verim miktarları farklı olan yıllarda antepfıstığı ağaçlarında görülen periyodisite ile karbonhidratlar arasındaki ilişkinin, ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada Pistacia vera anacı üzerine aşılı Siirt, Uzun ve Ohadi antepfıstığı çeşitleri materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Toplam şeker düzeyi bakımından yapraklarda sulanan ve sulanmayan ağaçlar arasında farklılıklar önemli bulunmazken, çeşitler, yıllar ve dönemler arasında farklılıklar gözlenmiştir. Çeşitlerin yılların ve sulamanın meyve içlerindeki toplam şeker düzeyine etkisi önemli olmamıştır. Dönemler ve yıllar arasındaki farklılıklar ise belirgin olmuştur. Sonuç olarak periyodisite önleme veya azaltmak bakımından çeşit seçiminin ve kültürel uygulamaların önemli olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.

N2  - The alternate bearing and subsequently decline in yield depending on the bearing are of the major problems in pistachio. Plant growth, yield loss and quality problems are the consequences of the lack of adequate and balanced nutritional status of the plant. Domination of fruit in the competition between fruit, buds and leaves in allocation of nutrients results in the alternate bearing. Subsequently, the alternate bearing causes important fluctuations in yield and price. This reduces our competitiveness in the international market. In this study, it was targeted to determine the correlation between alternate bearing with the carbohydrate levels in leaves and fruit in some different yielding pistachio varieties. Siirt, Uzun ve Ohadi varieties grafted onto Pistacia vera rootstocks were used as materials in the study. Irrigation did not significantly influence the total sugar levels but significant differences were determined between varieties, years and harvest periods. The effects of variety, year and irrigation on the total sugar levels in the fruit were not significant. There was an obvious difference between year and periods. As a result, the selection of variety and cultivation practices are important to reduce or prevent the alternate bearing
