Rotitional manipulation without anesthesia was performed on another group of 20 patients with intervals of 5.1+ 0.3 days for 4.3 + 0.2 sessions. Patients were compared and evaluated before and after the treatment with visual analog scale for the severity of pain, schoeber test straigt leg raising test, clinical findings, functional status and the efficacy of the treatment acording to both the patient and the physician. As a results, the decrease in the sevirity of pain after the manipulation therapy was more than that was found after the physical thraphy. The difference in the increase of pain between the two groups was statistically significant. Finally the difference in the values of the other variables between the two compared grups was not found to be statistically significant.}, number={1}, publisher={Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology}
