The mean age at implantation was 67 (19 to 91 ). The prosthesis were fixed with Refobacin-Palacos bone cement. After 12 years follow-up there was a significent difference between semiconstrained and constrained types in term of durability. The failure rate was much higher by semiconstrained typ St. Georg knee prosthesis. Best results were obtained with the second generation of constrained typ and unicondyler lateral slide type had the poorest prognosis. After our 15 years experience with both types of St. Georg knee prosthesis, we believe that in over 90% of patients good clinical results can be expected with correct selection of the prosthesis design.}, number={5}, publisher={Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology}
