Using standart range of interest (ROI), time actfvity curves of involved and intact sides were calculated in the patients with osteosarcoma and 29 cases with various benign bone pathologies. Mean value of involved site to intact side in osteosarcoma and benign cases were 5,4±2,1 and 1 ,56±0,8 respectively. In the operated 9 cases, lesion extent estimated by bone scintigraphy were found to be greilter but well correlated with specimen measurements, r: 0,98. Classical scintigraphic pattern of osteosarcoma was observed in 18 cases. Chemotherapy response was also evaluated in 3 cases using 3 phase scintigraphy and SPECT imaging. Time activity curves which were obtained before and after the chemotherapy, reflected the effect of therapy very accurately when compared with other imaging modalities.}, number={1}, publisher={Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology}
