Average follow-up period was 19 months (6-39 months). Patellar component was not used for nine patients. According to Knee Society Criteria results of operations were evaluated as excellent for 37 patients (64 %), good for 15 patients (26 %),fair for one patient (2 %), poor for 5 patients (8 %). Results we obtained from our series showed us that especially, for elderly patients for whom physical rehabilitation program is unsatisfactory, total knee joint arthroplasty should be the choice of treatment.}, number={5}, publisher={Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology}
