There were 14 male and 8 female patients with a mean age of 36.5 years. Most of them suffered high energy fractures, the leading cause was motor vehicular accidents. 2 patients had a Garden Stage II fracture, 12 Stage III and 8 Stage IV. The patients were treated within a mean of two days after injury with 3 parallel cannulated screws in all but two. Our mean follow- up is 23 months (Range:13-32 mo.) Avascular necrosis of the femoral head developed in 3 patients and pseudoarthrosis in 2 patients. We think immediate reduction and parallel cannulated screw fixation, femoral neck fractures can be managed effectively with low morbidity.}, number={1}, publisher={Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology}
