AB  - In this study the problems related with the diagnosis and treatment of the fractures of the odontoid process are studied. Controversial reports in the literature are reviewed. Nine cases were presented, six of them were treated succesfully by C1-C2 posterior fusion.
N2  - Bu çalışmada odontoid kırıklarının teşhis ve tedavisinde karşılaşılan güçlüklere ve komplikasyonlarına değinilmiştir. Konu ile ilgili literatür incelendiğinde birbirinden çok farklı görüşlere rastlanmıştır. Son on yılda gör;düğümüz ve altısını C-1C2 posterior füzyon yaparak başarı ile tedavi ettiğimiz 9 vaka takdim edilmiştir.
