Osteopetrosis is a rare disease known with its hereditary character and a delay in the osteociastic activity. Thus the bone marrow and primary spongiosa is occupied with primary bone tissue and as a result of this fragility of the bones occur. Diffuse medullary bone formation decreases hematopoietic activity and anemia results. The prognosis of the disease of which the etiology and treatment is unknown is usually good in moderate and mild cases. The case we have studied is a young man with symptoms from mild to moderate degrees ana without any complications such as anemia, fractures and degeneration of the cranial nerves. Since two years he had pains of neurogenic origin due to the density of bone in cervical and lumbar vertebrae.}, number={4}, publisher={Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology}
