A 5 point likert type survey was developed by the researchers in order to collect data. Before the survey was implemented on the subjects, a pilot study was carried out in the fall semester of 2007–2008. The main study carried out with the 106 formatter teachers who attended an in-service training program about Developing Instruction Process, designed by the Ministry of National Education. In addition to this, a semi-structured interview was carried out with 5 teachers. The results have shown that the teachers get the information about EUEP from the internet and the Ministry of National Education. The teachers think that EUEP are an opportunity to know more about the instructional programmes and cultures of different foreign countries. Finally, the teachers have pointed out that in order to be more knowledgable about and more involved in the projects, it is necessary to get the support of the administration, to be informed about them better and to have a group of certain people within the institutions to guide the teachers.}, number={3}, publisher={E-Journal of New World Sciences Academy}
