N2  - Dwellings identity is one of the most important element that form housing identiity.The others are, geographical location, culture, vernacular traditions, lifestyle and their mixtures. Affiliation to a community is depend on dwellings lifestyle and relations as well as physical and visual requirements. Otherwise the difference between house construction and 'nest' could not be understood.  Beritan tribe members are lack of use of the houses made by government in Bismil district of Diyarbakyr province during transition from nomadic to settlement. The reason proves the hypothesis of unavailability of housing with user identity. The aim of this study is to determine user affiliation in  the houses and their suitability.
