There are 11 endemic species of the Vetch taxa in Turkey. Among existing Vetch taxa, it has been identified that seventy six taxa are annual, twenty six are perennial, six are annual or biennial, five are annual or perennial, one is biennial or perennial and one is biennial. In terms of chromosome numbers of taxa, it has been found that; 44 taxa consist of 14 chromosomes, 14 have 12 chromosomes, 5 have 10 chromosomes and one taxa has 28 chromosomes. Besides, we found that 19 taxa have more than one chromosome numbers. The first three of the most common species according to the provinces where they have been found are Vicia cracca L. subsp. stenophylla Vel.
