It tries to indicate the difference between the phenomenon of historicity which human being formed in his age and historicism that is an ideological approach which does not see the religious and spiritual process behind it. In this context, it examines this topic in three sections: The first section focus-es on autonomy, the second section analyzes antinomy, and the third sec-tion explains it in a more detail through holistic approach. According to this approach, human being can form his cultural human world in his historicity (historical conditions) freely but by one condition that he is responsible for his behavior based on his human and moral aspect in both in this world and the next. When this is achieved, between religion in general and the Quranin particular and in the cultural and historical world of human being, a true holistic relationship between them arises. In this situation, the historicity points out good-will human/cultural actions. When is looked at the Quran from this point of view of historicity, it does not give any harm the essence and universality of the Quran; on the contrary, it makes its universality more clear.
