AB  - SUMMARYTHE    CLINICAL    EVALUATION    OP    THE    PATIENTS    WITH    RICKETSRicket s which is a common metabolie bone disease especially in   developing   countries,   has   clear   physical,   radiologie and biochemical findings. We evaluated the patients who had been admitted to Ondokuz Mayıs university Hospital between the years 1984-1.989. Patients had different symptoms. Hypotonia was the most frequent symptom, the others were sweating and convulsion. Most of the patients were malnourished children. The evidences of physical, radiological and biochemical findings of rickets were determined in all patients. Anemia was noticed as the striking finding in the patients with rickets and the more biochemical phase increased, the more anemia become evident. Findings and the results of treatment has been discussed.                                                   ÖZETGelişmekte olan ülkelerde halen yaygın olarak görülen raşitizmin belirgin fizik inceleme,, biyokimyasal ve radyolojik bulguları vardır. Ondokuz Mayıs üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Çocuk Hastalıkları Polikliniğinde 1984-1989 yılları arasında raşitizm tanısı ile izlenen 134 vaka deskriptif olarak incelendi. Değişik semptomlarla hastanemize gelen hastalarda hipotoni en sık görülen semptomdu. Hastala¬rın fizik inceleme, radyolojik ve kan biyokimyası bulgula¬rı değerlendirilerek sonuçlar tartışıldı.
