Thecollapse of this state and regain of Abbasids completely control over the Egyptand Syria have occured only in the reign of al-Muktafi. Muktafi who saw thatTulunids were really getting weak politically, military and economically owing tothe power struggles in the capital and Qarmatian revolt in the Syrian region,firstly struck against Qarmatis afterwards acted against Tulunids and securedeasily those two regions.
