N2  - : In this studies, the cytogenetic effects of fipronil on root tip of Allium cepa, at different concentrations, were studied. The roots were treated with 5, 10, 15 mg/100 ml of the fipronil for 6 and 24 hours and then the root tip cells were examinated in mitosis division variations by recovering for 12, 24, and 48 hours. It was observed that mitotic abnormalites were increased depending on the concentration of fipronil.
