N2  - In this study which is purposed to give a different point of view to a current debate in ranking the universities, a league for universities in the education of economics has been established by paying attention to the activities of education and training provided by the universities. The criterion which has been taken into consideration in making the rank is the difference between the rank of accomplishment in the Central Examination for Student Placement (ÖSS) and the rank of accomplishment in the Selection Examination for Civil Servants (KPSS). The rank made for this direction is very interesting in the respect of its content. The Universities of Erciyes, Muğla and Abant Đzzet Baysal are among the most successful universities which have created relatively maximum positive value added to their students while the Universities of Boğaziçi, Đstanbul, Anadolu and Uludağ are among the unsuccessful universities which have created relatively negative value-added to their students.
