Yarn hairiness is effected by fibre characteristics, machine and process parameters. In this study, the effect of spinning method on yarn hairiness was analyzed. For this purpose, 100% wool worsted yarns were spun in two different nominal yarn counts with three different yarn twist factors using four different spinning methods. Yarn hairiness values of each yarn sample were measured and the effects of spinning method and twist factor on yarn hairiness were analyzed CR - 1.
