The drawbacks of the conventional wet-textile processes like as low water/energy efficiency, longer process times, can be overcome by application of ultrasound. Several studies have been carried out on the enhancement in the efficiencies of several wet-textile processes with application of ultrasound. Despite the encouraging results of these studies, ultrasound-based wet-textile processes have remained in the laboratory because of the lack of precise knowledge of the physical mechanism of the ultrasound-enhanced wet-textile processes, and the drawbacks of the ultrasonic reactors. In this study, the factors that might affect the ultrasound efficiency have been investigated. For this purpose, the experiments about the effects of distance between material and transducers, material conformation and angle between material and transducers on the ultrasound efficiency have been performed}, number={1}, publisher={Ege University}
