N2  - The speed of evolution and regeneration process of technology isadvancing day by day in a much faster way. The rise in the turnover rate oftechnology and innovation as bringing along a change with each revelation,major differences in the functioning of both the social and institutional lifehas occurred. People’s behaviors and habits that shifted to a different axis, dependingon the new order created by the technology; commercial organizations’relationships and communications with customers has also changed. Thisevolution also brought along different strategies and marketing methods. Whiledifferent than traditional marketing methods of marketing, as the marketingcommunication elements that value the communication with the customer gainedprominence over time; integrated marketing concept emerged as it requires theuse of all elements of marketing communication in an integrated manner. It is alsoan undeniable fact that opportunities created by technology lead to moreaccurate results in data collection, measurement and evaluation. This newmarketing world; created by technology, Internet and new communicationtechnologies; allowed organizations to use a newmethod called “digital marketing” in reaching their target audiences.In this study, primarily a theoretical framework will be drawn for themarketing, marketing communications and integrated marketing communicationconcepts. Then, after giving information about digital marketing; the studiesof four major technology retail stores in Turkey will be examined, assessedand analyzed particularly from social media marketing point of view.
